What are EMFs? – A Beginner’s Guide to EMFs
This is a free beginner’s guide to the four types of man-made EMFs that you’ll want to be on the lookout for. It’s written in layman’s terms and is a great resource for you, family or friends that are just beginning to research EMFs and their possible health effects.
This is a great place to purchase EMF meters and EMF shielding devices of all kinds. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly and are happy to help you with any questions you may have.
If you purchase from them, use the code DIYEMF to get 5% off your order.
The owner of Michigan EMF, Dave Green, is a fantastic resource for any EMF questions or mitigation planning you may encounter. He does surveys in Michigan and surrounding areas and phone/internet consulting, as well. We highly recommend him.
Cathy Cooke is a great resource for EMF consulting, testing and mitigation in Idaho. She is available for distance consulting, as well.
Active Magnetic Field Shielding Through Field Cancellation
Charles Keen at EMF Services, LLC provides individualized active field cancellation systems, which are one of the only effective means of shielding against external magnetic field sources.
From his website: “Active shielding systems are used primarily for reducing powerline magnetic fields. They are effective for both transmission and distribution lines, overhead or underground. Within a defined area, the magnetic field can often be reduced to a very low level.”
Charles can often determine if a property is suitable after a short phone call with the homeowner.
Oram Miller – EMF Specialist in Southern California
Oram’s website, Create Healthy Homes, is a great resource for EMF learning and news updates.
Mary Anne Tierney is a very knowledgeable EMRS that services Western and Central NC, SC’s Upstate and Piedmont, Eastern TN, Southwest VA and Northern GA.
A great non-profit out of North Carolina that focuses on lowering EMFs in schools and other public spaces.
